The Philippine Investment-Management Inc. (PHINMA)


The PHINMA Foundation, Inc. is pleased to announce the availability of one (1) scholarship grant for the Academic Year 2017-2018.


FEATURES: This scholarship offers an annual allowance of Php 30,000.00 for the two semesters enrolled in each academic year.  The scholar will enjoy the said allowance to cover Tuition and Miscellaneous Fees until he/she graduates provided that he/she meets the requirements to maintain the scholarship.



  1.       a)  3rd to 5th year Engineering Students in:
  • Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering (BSECE)
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
  • Bachelor of Science in Geodetic Engineering (BSGE)
  • Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering (BSIE)
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME)
  • Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering (BSChE)
  1. must not be enjoying any scholarship, pre-need educational plans, corporate foundation scolarship and must issue an affidavit to this effect;
  2. must come from a needy family as evidenced by parents’ combined income of not more than Php 120,000.00 annually;
  3. must have a minimum general weighted average of at least 85% during the last semesters prior to application;
  4. must be of good health;
  5. must be a Filipino citizen;
  6. must be of good moral character;
  7. must not have any Dropped (D), Failed (F) or Incomplete (INC) mark in any subject including NSTP and PE; and,
  8. must personally submit to the Guidance Center the following required documents together with the duly accomplished Application Form on or before September 30, 2017.
  • Certified true copy of first year grades until the last term enrolled in SLU from the Registrar’s Office
  • 2017 Income Tax Return of parents or of bread winner in the family, or where such is not applicable, an Affidavit attesting to the financial status of the family, or a Certificate of Tax Exemption
  • Photocopy of Birth Certificate (please present original for authentication purposes)
  • Certification of good health certified by  a licensed physician
  • Certification of good moral character from Student Affairs Office


  1. Incomplete papers shall not be processed.
  2. Applicants will be interviewed individually.
  3. Top three (3) recommendees shall be included for the final screening.
  4. The decision of the Scholarship Committee is final and irrevocable.  If you possess the above qualifications, get an application form from the Guidance Center, First Basement of the Fr.
